If I am not a financial planner, I would still be doing project management & marketing related work –No doubt these fields can be quite interesting and enriching, it does not provide me with job security and recognition.

It took me quite a while before I decided to join my current boss/mentor Tan Eng Seng (Director of Alliance Organisation). Because of his patience and sincerity towards his clients (I am his client) and coupled with some external factors, I decided to join Alliance Organisation.

Being a financial planner is not only about providing a sound financial plan to customers. We need to offer meaningful advice and educate clients to make suitable decisions which they are often too overwhelmed and confused which insurance plans and investments that are appropriate for them.

I’m glad I chose Alliance Organisation. They are like a big family with a good organisation culture, training support and great mentors. Everyone is selfless and willing to share whatever they have. These virtues resonate with Alliance vision statement “To Build a highly Proficient, Productive and Professional practice that is recognised as a Preferred Wealth Planning Organisation”.

What I am passionate about

Baking has become a part of me, though I am still learning. I’m delighted when friends and families enjoyed the cakes/cookies I have shared with them.

Lily was extremely polite and accommodating when I first contacted her to inquire on my upgraded scheme of MediShield Life Insurance. She explained everything in detail with illustrated examples of my upgraded insurance to analyse my financial needs and even went to the extent of helping me analyse policies purchased from other insurance companies.
