I was invited to one of my first few interviews, freshly out of school. I had learned about financial planning in one of my Poly modules and when the offer came from Alliance, I decided to join this family, hoping to learn more about how to manage my finances and be a responsible working adult.
Over the years, I got to know what financial planners do; they advise clients to put in place plans and solutions to protect their family and improve their lives. They are always ready to answer your questions and they will be the one there for you during the good and bad times.
Their job really serves a meaningful purpose. Being able to support our group of financial planners make my job meaningful too, knowing that I am indirectly helping people to improve the lives and protecting the wealth of their clients and their loved ones.
At Alliance, we do not just work hard but we also have a lot of fun time together. The client events and bonding activities are some of my happiest memories over the years in Alliance. The most memorable one will be the Alliance Amazing Race that I helped co-organised in 2014. I also had the chance to travel around with Alliance over the past years to places like Krabi, Cebu, Hainan Island and countries like Portugal and Switzerland.
Alliance is like a big extended family with people who are genuinely kind and willing to help one another in the team. Our FPs conduct their business ethically and professionally and service their clients with the intention to help, even when most after-sale servicing work do not earn them a cent. I believe Alliance will continue a long way in this industry as one of the most trusted and reliable agencies.
I’m thankful to everyone I have met over my past 11 years here. I received a lot of care and guidance, patience and tolerance which I am truly grateful for. I wish that the company continue to recruit good people and for them to build a successful career with this lovely family.
